Day 12: Mirissa to Galle & Colombo (Departure)

Expressway Tip: Use the Southern Expressway (E01) for the final leg from Galle back to Colombo. It reduces travel time to under 2 hours, making your airport transfer much smoother and predictable.

  • Head to the historic city of Galle (1-hour drive).
  • Explore the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Continue to Colombo and transfer to the airport for your departure.
