Heritage Safety & Etiquette Spotlight

For a perfect heritage journey, keep these essential etiquette and safety protocols in mind:

Respectful Views

Never turn your back to a Buddha statue for photos. It is considered highly offensive in Buddhist culture.

Heat Integrity

Ancient sites like Anuradhapura involve long walks on hot stones. Always carry water and start your tour by 8 AM.

Wasp Protocol

Sigiriya has wasp nests. If the warning signs are up, remain quiet and follow guide instructions immediately.

Sri Lanka's "Cultural Triangle" is the spiritual heart of the island. This 14-day itinerary takes you through three ancient capitals, sacred mountain peaks, and colonial forts, providing an immersive deep-dive into 2,500 years of civilization.

Duration: 14 Days

Strict Temple Dress Code

For Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, and Kandy: You MUST wear clothing that covers both shoulders and knees. White or light-colored clothing is preferred. Hats and shoes must be removed before entering any temple or sacred ruins.
