Cultural Etiquette

Visitors are advised to dress modestly when visiting religious sites, including Buddhist temples, Hindu kovils, mosques, and churches””shoulders and knees should be covered as a sign of respect. When visiting Buddhist temples, avoid posing for photographs with your back facing a Buddha statue, and always behave respectfully within sacred premises. Remove footwear when entering religious sites where required, maintain a quiet and respectful attitude, and follow any local customs or guidelines observed at each place of worship.
